Graham is the first to use a word that is made up, this is so exciting to me as this project is a reminder of how much I don’t know or memories that I have loved, but are on the back burner. His word means exactly how it sounds to mush together, to want to get close in a mushy way. It reminded me of one of my favorite classes at Mesa College, it was linguistics, it was the memory of what type of person would be more likely to make up a word. Someone who has less education and means or someone that is more educated and has meant. The answer surprised me (and I wonder if I remember this correctly) it is someone of means and education. The reason was they were not attached to how people perceived them, while someone without means and education wants to fit in, not stand out and seem uneducated.

I loved Graham’s word, him, and all that he is! Mush, Belong
